Hey there, We’re Review Buddy. We built this tool to make collecting reviews stupidly simple, and we think your privacy should be just as simple. So here’s exactly what we do (and don’t do) with your data.
Who We Are
Review Buddy is operated by Adrian Rdriguez based in Australia. We’re bound by the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What We Collect
We keep it minimal. Here’s what we collect and why:

That’s it. We don’t collect payment info, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t sneak in extras.
How We Use Your Data
We use your name and email to:
- Create and manage your Review Buddy account
- Send transactional emails (think: sign-up confirmation, API key delivery)
- Notify you of product updates or changes to this policy
- Respond to support requests
We will never sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties for marketing purposes.
How We Store & Protect It
Your data is stored securely on servers located in Australia and/or with trusted cloud providers that meet Australian privacy standards. We use industry-standard practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we’ll delete your personal data within 30 days.
Third-Party Services
To run Review Buddy, we work with a small number of trusted tools:
- Email delivery (e.g. transactional email provider) – your email is shared only to send you messages from us
- Hosting & infrastructure – our servers are managed by reputable cloud providers bound by data processing agreements
We don’t use third-party ad networks or tracking pixels.
Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of non-essential communications at any time

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we’ll let you know via email before they take effect. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
